The Aqua Signal Series 60 Masthead is the single-tier lantern designed for vessels between 20 and 50 metres. Shows a white light over a 225° arc ahead, the forward steaming light required under COLREG Rule 21.
It replaces an incandescent lantern one-for-one while removing the bulb-change cycle entirely — the LED engine is rated for 100,000 hours at 45 °C ambient, roughly eleven years of continuous running. The tamper-proof countdown system tracks the lantern’s own hours and signals when it needs changing.
The housing is seawater-resistant aluminium with a polycarbonate body and a hardened tempered glass lens, sealed to IPx6–x7, so it holds up to spray, UV and washdown without hazing or seizing at the fixings.
