The Aqua Signal Series 61 Stern / Yellow Towing is the lantern for commercial vessels above 20 metres. Covers the 135° aft sector. Glamox supplies this lantern in both sternlight and yellow towing configurations.
It replaces an incandescent lantern one-for-one while removing the bulb-change cycle entirely — the LED engine is rated for 100,000 hours at 45 °C ambient, roughly eleven years of continuous running. The tamper-proof countdown system tracks the lantern’s own hours and signals when it needs changing.
The housing is seawater-resistant aluminium with a polycarbonate body and a hardened tempered glass lens, sealed to IPx6–x7, so it holds up to spray, UV and washdown without hazing or seizing at the fixings.
