S2S Wire Rope Corrosion Control polar bonds to metal like a magnet to steel and displaces water and oxygen. Unlike grease, it penetrates all the way to the core of a wire rope, lubricating and protecting the strands you cannot reach — while leaving a non-tacky film that resists dirt and debris.

Application

Apply to rusted, painted, damp or bare metal — no sandblasting needed. Remove debris, soap and degreaser first; a wire brush can be used to take off loose corrosion. For best results apply when surface temperatures are between 41°F and 99°F (5°C – 37°C), laying a thicker coat over known problem areas.
