HD Corrosion Shield - 20L (5 US Gal)

S2S HD Corrosion Shield is the heavy-duty member of the Corrosion Shield family, formulated for assets that take a beating. It clears 1,000+ hours in ASTM B117-18 salt spray testing and goes straight onto damp, rusted or painted steel — ideal for tank deck piping, ballast tank plating, wellheads and offshore equipment.

Application

Apply to rusted, painted, damp or bare metal — no sandblasting needed. Remove debris, soap and degreaser first; a wire brush can be used to take off loose corrosion. Paint topcoats over HD Corrosion Shield are not recommended. For best results apply when surface temperatures are between 41°F and 99°F (5°C – 37°C).
