The B&G V60-B VHF Radio takes marine communication and safety to the next level by combining a Class D DSC VHF radio with a Class B AIS transceiver. Unlike standard AIS receivers, the V60-B not only sees nearby AIS targets, it also transmits your vessel’s position, ensuring you are visible to other AIS-equipped boats in all conditions—day or night.

Designed for cruising yachts, offshore sailors, and performance vessels, the V60-B integrates seamlessly with B&G navigation systems and expands easily with wireless handsets and networked displays.

See and Be Seen with Integrated Class B AIS

The built-in Class B AIS transceiver allows the V60-B to:

• Transmit your yacht’s position, course, and speed to nearby vessels

• Receive AIS targets from other AIS-equipped boats

• Display AIS information directly on the radio’s screen

• Overlay AIS targets on compatible chartplotters or radar displays

This dramatically improves collision avoidance, especially in crowded harbors, traffic lanes, and reduced-visibility conditions.

Class D DSC & Integrated GPS

The V60-B is Class D DSC-approved, allowing digital distress calls and position sharing. An integrated GPS receiver ensures your position is always available, even if other onboard electronics are offline.

In an emergency, the dedicated DSC distress function sends your precise GPS location to nearby DSC-equipped vessels and rescue authorities.

Man Overboard (MOB) Safety Function

Press and hold the NAV/MOB button to instantly:

• Drop an MOB waypoint at your current location

• Display distance and bearing back to the MOB position

• Transmit the MOB waypoint over NMEA 2000® to the rest of your network

This provides fast, coordinated response across all connected displays.

Track Buddy™ – Track Up to 5 Vessels

The Track Buddy™ feature allows you to track vessels without AIS:

• Enter another VHF radio’s MMSI

• Automatically request and update their position

• Track up to 5 vessels simultaneously
