ZOLEO 1500 is a rugged satellite communicator that keeps boaters, travelers, outdoor users and remote teams connected beyond cell coverage. Its IP68 water- and dust-resistant, making it well suited to boating and demanding outdoor conditions. Paired with the free ZOLEO app and MyZOLEO Portal, it supports global two-way messaging, check-ins, location sharing, weather forecasts, Medical Assist, ZOLEO Track and 24/7 monitored SOS. Features include USB-C charging, Bluetooth LE 5.2, tactile controls and over 200 hours of battery life. Active service plan required (3 month minimum).
ZOLEO ZL1500 Global Satellite Communicator with Two-Way Messaging, 24/7 Emergency SOS, GPS Location Tracking, Weather Forecasts & Off-Grid Safety
ZOLEO automatically uses the best available connection. When cellular or Wi-Fi coverage is available, the ZOLEO app uses those networks. Beyond cellular coverage, the ZOLEO 1500 connects through the Iridium® satellite network to support messaging and SOS transmission with an active service plan. Your ZOLEO also includes a dedicated SMS number and email address, making it easy for family members, friends, coworkers and other members of your Safety Circle to contact you directly.
In an emergency, trigger an SOS from the device or the ZOLEO app to connect with a 24/7 emergency response coordination center. Through the app, you can exchange messages and receive updates throughout the incident. For nonemergency medical questions, Medical Assist provides access to medical information and advisory support through the app.
Check in to let your Safety Circle know you are okay, include your GPS coordinates in messages, or use optional Location Share+ to send location updates automatically at selected intervals — useful for keeping people ashore informed during a boating trip. ZOLEO Track, available through the MyZOLEO Portal, provides a clear view of device activity on an interactive map. Breadcrumb location tracking within ZOLEO Track requires the Location Share+ add-on.
The refreshed ZOLEO 1500 combines trusted performance with practical updates for everyday and field use. It features USB-C charging, Bluetooth® LE 5.2, improved tactile controls, a high-visibility Limestone exterior, a red SOS cover and green accents. Its rugged, IP68 dust- and water-resistant, MIL-STD 810G shock-resistant design is built for demanding environments, including marine use, while its rechargeable battery provides more than 200 hours of operation when checking for messages every 12 minutes.
The package includes the ZOLEO 1500 device, USB-C cable, lanyard, carabiner and quick-start guide.
