SIG SAUER's Optical Image Stabilization cancels the motion of the deck and your hands, so you get a still, readable image at long range even in a chop.
Stabilization you can switch to suit the job
Two user-selectable modes cover the way binoculars actually get used on the water. Scan Mode is for broad observation, mapping the horizon or running a coastline. Target Mode increases stabilization by up to 50% so you can lock onto a distant vessel, a buoy or marine life and hold it. The next-generation OmniScan OIS system uses a digital accelerometer to detect movement and vibration and apply the right amount of correction automatically.
HDX glass that cuts marine glare
The HDX lens system enhances light transmission, resolution and definition on the water, and cuts through the flat glare that comes off the surface in harsh light. Proprietary SpectraCoat, LensArmor and LensShield coatings protect the glass and keep it clear.
Marine build
The ZULU6 HDX Marine is wrapped in high-visibility orange body armor and ships with a floating neck strap, so a dropped pair is a recoverable pair. IPX7 waterproof and fogproof performance handles spray and weather, an updated metal battery cap protects the power compartment, and a single AA battery runs the system for about 30 hours.
