The CoastKey Standard Keyless Ignition System for Mercury is a complete wireless ignition and safety solution designed to replace traditional keys with modern, secure, and convenient technology. Building on the Basic system, this upgraded version includes a 2-button wireless FOB, enabling full remote start and stop functionality in addition to PIN-based access via the Start Panel.

Mounted at the helm, the Start Panel allows users to unlock and operate the engine using a customizable PIN code. When the wireless FOB is present, the system automatically recognizes it—eliminating the need to enter the PIN for faster and more convenient operation.

The included FOB also functions as a wireless engine cut-off switch (ECOS), acting as a virtual lanyard. If the operator moves out of range or falls overboard, the system automatically shuts down the engine, providing critical safety protection.

Designed specifically for Mercury engines, this system features true plug-and-play installation on newer models. The Start Panel fits directly into the existing ignition switch location, and the included cables connect seamlessly to the factory wiring harness.
