The B&G Vulcan 9 FS 9” Combo Chartplotter is a large-screen, sailing-dedicated marine MFD designed for coastal cruising and club racing sailboats. Featuring an intuitive 9-inch multi-touch widescreen display, Vulcan 9 FS delivers B&G’s award-winning sailing tools in a powerful, easy-to-use platform. This version includes a C-MAP Discover chart and is supplied without a transducer, allowing you to select the sonar solution that best fits your vessel.
With support for C-MAP® Easy Routing and Navionics® Dock-to-Dock Autorouting (chart dependent), Vulcan 9 FS automatically calculates the safest and most efficient routes based on your boat’s draft, beam, and height. The enhanced C-MAP Navigation Palette improves near-shore readability, clearly defining channels, navigation aids, ledges, and hazards.
Purpose-built sailing features like SailSteer™, RacePanel, SailingTime, and LayLines bring all critical sailing data together on one screen or overlaid directly on charts. When connected to wind, speed, and heading sensors via NMEA 2000®, SailSteer provides a clear visual summary of boat performance, wind angles, tides, wind shifts, and optimal laylines—ideal for both cruising efficiency and competitive sailing.
The Vulcan 9 FS integrates seamlessly into your onboard system. It supports B&G Broadband Radar™ (3G/4G), ForwardScan™, and can act as a secondary autopilot controller, offering Intelligent Sail Steering, manual and automatic steering, and Smart Manoeuvre functions.
With built-in Wi-Fi, Vulcan 9 FS allows you to download charts and updates via the GoFree® shop, access online services, and mirror the display to compatible smartphones or tablets—creating a flexible and cost-effective dual-station navigation solution.
