Replaced an old Perko strainer, I am so happy I did, this has an accessible drain so I can drain a little water out before removing the cap and not spilling a drop of saltwater into my bilge. Also I couldn't find a flush cap for the Perko that wouldn't leak. There are flush caps for Groco that have a positive seal. Definitely recommend Groco stainers.
