The LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) is a reliable, SOLAS/MED/USCG-approved mechanism designed for automatic liferaft deployment in the event of a vessel sinking. Manufactured in the EU (Greece), it activates at depths between 1.5 and 4 meters, inflating and detaching the liferaft from the sinking vessel. Suitable for liferafts with capacities ranging from 4 to 150 persons, the HRU ensures compliance with international safety standards. It requires no maintenance but must be replaced two years after installation or four years after manufacture, whichever comes first. Tested and approved by Force Certification A/S, it provides a critical safety solution for marine emergencies.
