The motor version prioritizes faster response and longer forward detection range, suited to higher speeds. The sailing version offers wider fields of view at each tier and is designed for panoramic awareness, lightweight integration, and longer passages.

About the Watchkeeper Lite
The Watchkeeper Lite doesn't include a thermal camera, so there's no thermal resolution or thermal detection range for that model. It relies solely on the RGB daylight camera. For both the Motor and Sailing Lite, the RGB camera has a 130°x65° field of view, making it ideal for daytime and twilight use only.
Detection ranges for the Motor Lite are buoy/person up to 65m, dinghy/RIB up to 350m, and motorboat/sailboat up to 900m.
MFD Compatibilty
The following MFDs are fully supported and tested for native integration, including features such as overlays, controls, and system interaction. Once your Multifunction Display and the SEA.AI Watchkeeper are connected to the same network, SEA.AI App will automatically appear in the app menu.
For unlisted MFDs, the system can still be used via HDMI/USB with an external computer running the SEA.AI app. This allows the video feed and interface to be displayed on the MFD and you can still interact with the system through that setup, however it is a less integrated experience:
